SCH and sister company CPS will be joining the leading lights of the cruise industry as they assemble in Malaga, Spain, for Seatrade Cruise Mediterranean this week.

They will be among some 200 cruise line representatives, plus 160 ports, destinations and suppliers, who will attend the two-day conference and exhibition. Over 3,000 visitors are expected to attend from more than 70 countries.

The focus will be on the state of the industry, particularly in the Mediterranean, with key industry representatives considering the future direction of cruising and how it is faring in the wake of the pandemic.

Most of the cruise ships that SCH and CPS support head for the Mediterranean from UK ports like Southampton and among the attendees in Malaga will be major SCH and CPS customers including Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Azamara Cruises and P&O Cruises.

SCH and CPS representatives Lee Davis and Louis Colpitts will attend as part of the Cruise Britain stand.

Cruise Manager Louis explained: “It will be the first time that Seatrade Mediterranean has taken place in four years so it will be an ideal opportunity to meet up with cruise lines that serve the region and remind them of the comprehensive service that the companies in the Independent port Handling group can offer.”
