This Trommel mining equipment weighing 75 tonnes was carefully lifted from road transport, loaded and secured on a mafi trailer prior to being shipped on a K Line vessel heading for the Far East via Southampton. The machine, built by MDS International in Ireland, is effectively a giant cylindrical drum that is used for sorting quarry and other rocks and was destined for Indonesia via Singapore.
